Frankincense is a resin tree sap that has been used for over 6,000 thousand years as a medicine and as an incense. It produces a pleasent, soothing and mood boosting aromatic by burning on coals in a fire proof dish. Frankincense clears negativity from any space it is burned.
Historical uses include antibacterial, essential oil, perfume, incense, gum, mummification in ancient Egypt, holy offerings and more.
While there are a few species of tree that produce Frankincense, only Omani Frankincense is of the highest quality. This harvest came from the Dhofar region and is registered as mixed ungraded. The best quality is known as Hojari.
